The Bomba Social project was born with the idea of training young people in entrepreneurship and stimulating in them business ideas that can improve the lives of people in their community. For this first training cycle, we chose the province of Gaza, in particular the city of Xai-Xai, which is a 3-hour drive from Maputo. In the provinces, young people have fewer opportunities for growth and stimulation than in the big cities, and also the organizations operate in a less intense and continuous manner, and for this very reason, we chose to move away from the capital to start this first cycle.

The project is made up of 4 different training sessions: the first one, held in October, concerned the construction of the entrepreneurial idea, the second one, communication and the third one, marketing, while the last one will concern the actual construction of a business plan. At the end of each of these training sessions, the kids had a few weeks to present their project and only the most motivated and deserving ones moved on to the next training session. Only the 5 with the most innovative and best constructed ideas will participate in the last training session, which will be financed by some government programs.

At the end of the two-year project, the training sessions will start again, with other young people and with more and more provinces involved.
