José Maria
Scholar
In 2017 I received a phone call from Sister Lisete. She told me that AGAPE had chosen me for a scholarship!
For me, it was the most marvellous phone call: going to university after high school had always been my dream and, thanks to AGAPE’s donors, that dream came true and today I’m finishing the faculty of Environmental Engineering in Maputo.

Omar
Music therapist
I learnt a lot at AGAPE: if I am what I am today, it’s thanks to AGAPE, the training I received at the association changed me a lot in every sense of my life. If I’m a music therapist today, it’s thanks to AGAPE and the volunteers I’ve had with whom I’ve exchanged many experiences and learnt a lot.
Through the Entendarte Project I work with many children doing music therapy and music activities.

Isabel
Volunteer
I started working as a volunteer at AGAPE because I liked it and found the experience of teaching what I know to younger people or those who would like to learn interesting.
My school support work is important because I realise that teaching children is the art of transforming learning into something that generates interest and transformation in society.
