This is a project in which AGAPE truly believes: it is very difficult to get into public universities due to the limited number of places available and private universities are very expensive. Each child at university involves an expense of about €2,000 per year, including tuition, school supplies, transportation, and a small subsidy, but for us it is an investment in AGAPE’s mission: the children have the opportunity to study and build a professionalism that will allow them to bring about a concrete change in their country, each in their own field.

Furthermore, the scholarships are not only aimed at providing a complete education but also at introducing the young people to the world of work. This objective is achieved by guiding them throughout their training and by helping them find internships in their countries of origin, but also abroad, right from the first years of university, so that they can immediately make the leap from theory to practice. At the end of this path, the young people who have benefited from the scholarship will take care of another young person and help them start the same journey. In fact, each scholarship recipient undertakes to return, little by little, half of the scholarship they have received: this amount flows into the Opportunity Project fund and will allow other young people to study.

The donors who accompany the young people in their training will have the opportunity to see many young people grow who will make their countries of origin better.
